  • This tour is suitable for visitors arriving by cruise ship into Southampton or visitors staying in a London hotel. Please contact me for alternative pick-up locations e.g. London airports.
     

  • I will guide you around the stone circle at Stonehenge. The tour of Bath includes a walking tour of the city and entrance into the Roman Baths museum.
     

  • Tour includes your drop-off at the next destination on your holiday e.g. London, Southampton, Oxford, Cotswolds. All destinations within a 3 hours drive of Bath are included in the price of the tour. Please contact me for alternative destinations.
     

  • Price includes 1 night accommodation in Bath with breakfast. All admission tickets are included so during the tour you will only need money for refreshments, lunch, dinner and souvenirs.
     

  • Tour price depends on the number of people e.g. the price for 2 people is a total of £1410. Lunch and refreshments are not included. If you prefer to book your own accommodation in Bath please contact me for prices without the accommodation.

BOOK THE TOUR:
Stonehenge
The Circus - Bath tour
Roman Baths

Day 1:

  • In the morning you will be collected from Southampton (cruise ship or hotel) or your London hotel. The pick-up time will depend upon your location.

  • Private transfer to one of Britain's most famous monuments - the ancient and mysterious stone circle of Stonehenge. Without a guide Stonehenge is just a bunch of interesting rocks so I will guide you around the Visitor Centre and the stone circle to explain about the stories and theories behind this fascinating site. No-one knows the exact purpose for Stonehenge so at the end of our visit you can form your own opinion.

  • After exploring Stonehenge we will continue to the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath. On route we will stop at a traditional English pub for lunch.

  • I will take you to my favourite viewpoint overlooking the city and I will take you on a private walking tour of Bath. I will show you its beautiful buildings and tell you the stories behind these and the people of Bath. During the tour you will be shown the location of the hot springs without which Bath would not be the city that it is today.

  • At the end of the tour I will take you to your accommodation in Bath where your evening will be at leisure.

Day 2:

  • In the morning I will collect you from your accommodation and escort you to the Roman Baths museum. This will be an unaccompanied visit - you will have use of the museum's audio-guides. You will be among the first to enter the museum thus avoiding the large crowds that tend to visit the museum during the day.

  • After your visit to the museum we will return to your accommodation for check-out and I will transfer you to the next destination on your holiday. e.g. London, London airports, Southampton, Oxford, Cotswolds. If you would like some extra free-time in Bath or would like lunch in Bath before our transfer - please let me know.

TOUR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Maximum size of your group: 4 people.

  • Luggage: There is space in the vehicle for a maximum of 4 large suitcases and 4 carry-on bags. If you plan to have more luggage than this - please contact me before booking the tour. 

  • Accommodation: Your accommodation in Bath will be in a small boutique guest-house. These are often in historical characterful buildings. Due to their size, these guest-houses do not have the same facilities as hotels i.e. there is no on-site restaurant for lunch/evening meals, no gym and receptions are not manned 24/7. If these facilities are important to you, please request a hotel at the time of booking and I will arrange a 3-star hotel for you. If you would like to upgrade to one of Bath's luxury hotels please contact me for information. 

  • Accommodation stairs: A number of the boutique guest-houses are located in historical buildings which do not have a lift and thus may require a number of steps to reach your room and the breakfast room (Bath's Georgian buildings traditionally had their kitchens in the basement). If you prefer your room to be located on a lower floor, please advise at the time of booking.

  • Accommodation rooms: Rooms are based upon the size of your group (1 person:  1 single room, 2 people: 1 double room, 3 people: 1 double room and 1 single room, 4 people: 2 x double rooms). All rooms are en-suite. Please advise at the time of booking if you have any additional room requirements e.g. twin bed format.

  • Dietary Requirements: Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking.

  • Tour Price: Includes one night accommodation in Bath with breakfast, admission into Stonehenge, admission into the Roman Baths museum. Refreshments and meals are not included (except for your  breakfast at the hotel).
