Wintry Showers in Bath

Bath Empire Hotel in winter - Bath Insider Tours
Bath's historic Empire Hotel gets a dusting of snow

February has greeted Bath with snow - closing schools and putting smiles on hundreds of children (& adults!) This has been the largest amount of snow I have seen in Bath for a long time. It may not be around for long so make the most of the picturesque setting whilst you can!

If you are visiting Bath please be prepared for delays on public transport such as trains and buses and be careful on slippery pavements and roads. England is not accustomed to snow so don't be surprised if you see some shop closures. We have very little experience of driving in wintry conditions and the vast majority of car owners do not have winter tyres!

If you need warming up whilst sightseeing in Bath then don't forget we have the only hot springs in the country! I offer a great tour where you can visit the city's famous buildings, explore the impressive Roman Baths and then enjoy the city's hot springs in a rooftop pool. For more information please click here.

Wrap up warm and enjoy Bath's winter scenes!
